Watch: High speed police chase through Cardiff

A dangerous driver has been jailed after a high speed police chase through the streets of north Cardiff.

Caitlyn Thomas, 23, from Fairwater, was driving her Audi in Gabalfa using cloned plates to disguise her recent disqualification.

Spotting a marked police car, she sped off, leading to a high speed pursuit through a residential area.

Thomas was charged and remanded in custody the next day. She pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.

On 8 November at Cardiff Crown Court, she was sentenced to 10 months in prison, a three year disqualification and a £185 fine.
