Caerphilly: Dangerous driver smashes into police car after chase
This was the moment a dangerous driver ploughed head-on into a police car after officers deployed a stinger to stop him.
Craig Roach, 42, of Croespenmaen, Caerphilly county, had forced his way through traffic on the A465 near Resolven after a fatal crash on 8 September.
Refusing to stop, he was chased by officers, only coming to a halt after smashing into the police car, which was lit up by its blue lights.
Roach pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to provide a sample and breaching a restraining order.
He was jailed for 20 months at Swansea Crown Court on Friday.
