Carmarthenshire: Body found after river search for woman

A body has been found in the search for a missing woman.

The search began on Sunday after a woman, whose full name was given locally as Angharad Jones, 55, was reported missing from her home in Nantgaredig, Carmarthenshire.

Formal identification has not taken place but the family has been informed.

Mountain rescue, firefighters, police divers and a helicopter were involved in the search in and around the River Cothi between Pontargothi and Dryslwyn.

Dyfed-Powys Police has said previously that the missing woman's family were being supported by specialist officers.
