Coedely crash: Footballer in hospital 'incredibly talented'

"You could go to war with Lucas."

The words of Byron Anthony of Bristol Rovers Academy about Lucas Vaughan, a "humble, respectful" and "incredibly talented footballer" who is in intensive care after a crash that killed three young men.

Lydney Town AFC in Gloucestershire said the 18-year-old sustained life threatening injuries in the crash in Coedely, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Callum Griffiths, 19, and Jesse Owen and Morgan Smith, both 18, died at the scene.

Another 19-year-old also suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash involving a car and a bus.
