Treforest murder investigation: Four appear in court

A man and two teenage boys have appeared in court charged with the murder of 30-year-old Daniel Rae.

Kieran Carter, 22, and two 17-year-olds who cannot be named, are accused of the attack on Princess Street in Treforest on the evening of 17 December.

A fourth person, Grace Dresser, 21, is charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.

All four appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and were remanded in custody.

Mr Carter, from the Newtown area of Birmingham, along with Ms Dresser, from Treforest, and the two 17-year-olds are expected to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday.
