The family of a woman killed in a crash on Christmas Eve have paid tribute to her "extremely kind soul".

Kathryn Hughes, 30, of Neath, died at 03:45 GMT after a collision on the B4290 road in Llandarcy, Neath Port Talbot.

Her family said: "Kathryn was an amazing mum, wife, daughter, sister and aunty.

"She was loved by everyone. As a family we are truly heartbroken. Kathryn will be missed by all who knew her.

"Kathryn had an extremely kind soul and would always put other people before herself.

"She had a love of Disney, animals and theme parks but was never happier than when she was spending time with her family."

Police are appealing for witnesses.
