Man with HIV speaks out to help end stigma and raise awareness

A man with HIV has said he is not embarrassed to talk openly about his condition and is calling on others to do the same.

Neil, from Carmarthen, has also urged anyone who is sexually active to seek a test.

“If you’re not tested… you just think you’ve got a stomach bug or something like that,” he said.

“It’s made me realise that life is something that we need to cherish and enjoy as much as we possibly can.”
