A "loyal, funny and caring" man died of multiple stab wounds, an inquest has heard.
William Bush, 23, died on Christmas Eve after being discovered at a property on Chapel Street in Llandaff, Cardiff.
Dylan Thomas, 23, from Llandaff, was later charged with murder.
A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Bush died as a result of multiple stab wounds to his neck and trunk, the inquest opening was told.

The coroner suspended the inquest to allow police investigations continue.
She passed on her condolences at "a tragic and difficult time" to Mr Bush's family, who attended the inquest remotely.
The family of Mr Bush previously described him as "a loyal, funny and caring son, brother and boyfriend".
