Gavin and Stacey: Reboot rumour has fans asking about cliff-hanger

Gavin and Stacey fans are still desperate to find out if Smithy said yes to Nessa.

The last reboot of the hit sitcom in 2019 ended with a cliff-hanger marriage proposal.

Rumours it would return in December for a one-off Christmas special have been down played by the show's co-creator Ruth Jones, who said it was "sadly a rumour".

But in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, where the show was set, people said they still hope to one day know what's occurring between Nessa and Smithy.
