Wrexham: Disabled man says council 'clawed back' savings

A man with a life-limiting condition has said his local council "clawed back" money he had saved up to go on holiday.

Nathan Lee Davies, who has Friedrich's ataxia, saved money from his round-the-clock care fund to pay for a six-day break in Florida.

Nathan, 47, said he wanted to go on the trip to "have a bit of respite from the mundane reality of everyday life".

Wrexham council said: "Surplus funds are to be returned."
