Seven men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Cardiff, officers have said.
Police have extended a dispersal order, which is now in place until 13:30 GMT on Saturday, following the attack in Butetown, Cardiff, at 19:45 on Monday.
It also gives police the power to "seize any property" they suspect is being used to carry out anti-social behaviour.
The man is in hospital in a stable condition.
The men arrested in connection with the incident in Waverley Square are aged between 18 and 28, police said.
Insp Abi Biddle from the force said the order was a "preventative measure".
"We will have an increased presence in Butetown and officers won't hesitate to enforce the extra powers afforded to them in order to keep the community safe," she said.
