Quad biking was said to be a big part of Dan Roch's life

A teenage Pembrokeshire quad biker who died during an event on Sunday has been named as Daniel John Roch.

The 19-year-old from Narberth was taking part in an event at the Talsarn motocross track near Lampeter in Ceredigion.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that an inquest into the death has been opened and adjourned until a later date.

The Health and Safety Executive has also been informed.

Police were called to the race, run by Dredgers Motocross Club in Llanelli, at around midday.

No-one else was injured in the incident.
