Ideas sought on planned recycling changes in Powys

  • Published

Residents in Powys are being asked to give their views on plans to collect regular rubbish every three weeks in a bid to save £500,000 a year.

The aim is to help Powys council meet the Welsh government's 58% recycling rate by 2015/16 which will eventually rise to 70% by 2024/25.

Weekly recycling collections, including food waste, would be unaffected by any changes.

The consultation runs from 10-28 August.
