Visitors told to stay away from Aberystwyth's Bronglais Hospital

Visitors have been asked to stay away from a Ceredigion hospital after several patients fell ill with symptoms associated with the norovirus.

The Ceredig and Meurig wards at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth have been temporarily closed.

Hywel Dda University Health Board said the hospital was also experiencing an increase in patients attending its A&E department.

Infection control measures have been put in place.
