£2.4m upgrade of Deeside Leisure Centre discussed

Flintshire councillors are due to discuss a £2.4m further upgrade of Deeside Leisure Centre.

The centre has benefited from six new floodlit football pitches which were opened in November last year.

Phase two of the centre's revamp includes plans for a new spa, fitness suite, toning salon, facade and other features.

If work starts by February, it is hoped the Queensferry project could be completed by August this year.
