Dog dumped and chained in snow at Flintshire rescue centre

The owner of an animal rescue centre in Flintshire has criticised "callous" owners who left an abandoned dog chained overnight in snow.
John Morris said the Jack Russell terrier - nicknamed Frosty - was found chained outside the North Clwyd Animal Centre, Trelogan, on Wednesday morning.
It had been tethered with a metal chain and "just dumped".
Mr Morris said: "It was a very callous thing to do. You have to be heartless to do a thing like that."
The male dog, thought to be about two years old, is believed to have been left on Tuesday evening, and was found at 07:15 GMT on Wednesday.
Mr Morris, who hopes to re-home the animal, said: "There wasn't much snow overnight, but there was already snow on the ground and it was freezing.
"The dog had just been dumped in the snow and chained."
