Rhyl murder police appeal for help over Liam Hill's death

Police investigating a murder in Rhyl are handing out leaflets in a bid to establish the last movements of a 44-year-old man found dead in his flat.

A murder inquiry was launched after a post-mortem examination raised concerns about the cause of Liam Hill's death.

Police will visit local pubs and takeaways and give out a picture of Mr Hill as well as visiting nearby homes.

He was last seen at a takeaway the day before his body was discovered on Friday, 8 January.

Senior investigating officer, Det Chief Insp Andrew Williams said: "It is crucial we establish Mr Hill's whereabouts in the two days leading up to the discovery of his body."

He was seen in the Bar Bow pub in Water Street on the evening of Wednesday 6 January and at the Asher Indian restaurant, close to the town's police station, on the following evening. His body was found on the Friday.
