Five wards at Wrexham Maelor Hospital have been closed to the public following an outbreak of norovirus.

Two other wards also have some restrictions in place in a bid to stop it spreading.

The move comes after 21 patients showed symptoms of the winter vomiting bug.

A Betsi Cadwaladr health board spokesman urged any visitors with symptoms to stay away from the hospital.
