Grenade found on A483 roadside near Wrexham

An old grenade has been found at the side of a road near Wrexham, North Wales Police has said.

Traffic officers attended the A483 near junction 7 for Rossett after the device was found just before midday.

Army experts were sent to the scene to remove the grenade.

Police said the road had not been closed.
