Matthew Cassidy died after the attack in Connah's Quay

A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a 19-year-old was fatally stabbed in Flintshire.

Matthew Cassidy, who was from Merseyside, died in Bethel Place, Connah's Quay, on 29 May.

A man, 19, from Liverpool appeared at Flintshire Magistrates' Court on Monday. He was remanded to appear at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday.

Two other men who were being held on suspicion of murder have been released pending further inquiries.
