Caernarfon Castle: Injured woman in helicopter airlift

A 59-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital from Caernarfon Castle after slipping on a steep walkway.
The woman, from Conwy, is reported to have broken her ankle after falling within the 13th Century castle on Sunday.
Firefighters and an ambulance were called, and the decision was taken for an RAF rescue helicopter to winch her from the top of the castle.
She was flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd at nearby Bangor.
