An Anglesey cinema has been officially re-opened following a £460,000 refurbishment.
The Empire Cinema, Holyhead, forms part of the new Empire complex, which features a children's soft-play area, laser tag arena and cafe.
The project was funded by European money, through the Welsh government and Anglesey council.
Housing minister Carl Sargeant AM opened the cinema, describing it as a "real asset" to the town.
Holyhead town clerk Cliff Everett said it was a "hugely exciting venture", adding: "Many people have already said how pleased they are to have a cinema on their doorstep and I'm sure we'll be welcoming cinemagoers from all over the island over the coming years."
