A dog which was trapped on a mountain ledge in Snowdonia for six days has been rescued.

Corris, an 18-month-old foxhound, had become stuck on steep ground on the flanks of Trwyn Y Graig.

Corris had been working the area with her owners a week last Sunday and got herself stuck but attempts to recover her were unsuccessful.

A member of Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team abseiled down to the crag and with the help of biscuits, rescued the dog.
