A project to expand Wales' marine energy sector has received almost £12m in EU funding.
The money will support Bangor University's £17m Seacams 2 project.
Experts at Bangor and Swansea universities will provide research and development to help businesses exploit commercial opportunities and create new products.
The original Seacams project helped to secure investment in a £25m underwater "kite" project off Anglesey.
