One dead in 'wrong way' A55 road crash at Llandygai

A man has died and another has been seriously injured after a crash which involved a car driving the wrong way along the A55 in Gwynedd.
The incident happened at Llandygai, near Junction 11, at about 21:45 GMT on Wednesday.
A Nissan was driving the wrong way on the dual carriageway, and collided with a silver Hyundai, whose driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He was originally taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance, but has been transferred to Stoke-on-Trent with "life-changing injuries".
Sgt Raymond Williams of North Wales Police's roads policing unit said: "Sadly this is now being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision and I am appealing to anybody who may have seen the car travelling in the wrong direction to contact us."
