Thirty jobs are being created by Sony near Bridgend with the launch of a new service offering digital storage of audio and video content.

The £1.1m investment is backed by a loan from the Welsh government, to help secure the project for Wales.

Visiting Japan, First Minister Carwyn Jones welcomed the news Sony was "expanding and diversifying".

Steve Dalton of the Sony UK Technology Centre in Pencoed said the new project would complement its existing services.
