'Danger' for 'intransigent' government warns Plaid leader

There could be "danger" for an "intransigent" Welsh government in getting policies passed, the leader of the opposition has said.

Labour won 29 of the 60 seats at May's assembly election and formed a minority government with Liberal Democrat Kirsty Williams given a cabinet role.

Speaking to BBC Wales' Sunday Politics, Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood said: "Danger faces the government if it continues to be intransigent."

She said Labour members "tarnished and tried to smear" Plaid Cymru for an association with UKIP and the Conservatives over the first minister vote, meaning it would be difficult for them to look to those two parties for support.

Ms Wood said the 12 Plaid Cymru AMs would "consider very carefully what we do with our votes".
