Rebecca Aylward murder: Jury sent home for second night

Jurors in the trial of a 16-year-old boy charged with the murder of his former girlfriend have been sent home after a second day's deliberation.
Rebecca Aylward, 15, from Maesteg, was found dead in woods in Aberkenfig, near Bridgend, in October 2010.
The jury will return to Swansea Crown Court on Tuesday. The trial began four weeks ago, when jurors were told the schoolgirl died of head injuries.
The 16-year-old defendant, who cannot be named, denies her murder.
During the trial he said he joked about killing her as a bet for a free breakfast, but never meant it.
He claims it was his best friend who carried out the killing.
Neither teenager can be named for legal reasons.
The jury first retired to consider its verdict on Friday morning, but was sent home for the weekend after failing to reach a verdict, and reconvened
