A club in Cardiff dating back to 1866 will now allow women to be members after almost 150 years of being exclusively men-only.
The Cardiff and County Club in Westgate Street has now reportedly agreed to allow women to join.
There was criticism of the club, external as far back as 1999 when it was accused of perpetuating sexual inequality.
When contacted by BBC Wales, the club would not answer questions regarding the policy change.
