Michael Sheen tells Chartists' story
The actor Michael Sheen has retraced the route of protesters marching to secure the vote for a BBC Wales programme to mark the 175th anniversary of the Chartist uprising.
He is following in the footsteps of around 3,000 who took part in the journey through south Wales to Newport, where a confrontation with soldiers at the Westgate Hotel left around 20 dead.
The workers were demanding a new people's charter, including the right to vote.
The programme airs on BBC Two Wales at 21:00 GMT on Tuesday.
