An airline is set to announce new routes flying from Cardiff Airport.

Flybe is expected to announce on Thursday that it will expand the number of destinations it offers from the Rhoose-based airport.

They include Edinburgh, Glasgow, Faro and Milan and will provide a boost to the airport which was bought by the Welsh government for £52 million.

Flybe dropped flights from Cardiff to Glasgow and Paris in 2014 as part of restructuring of the company.
