Extra Cardiff bus lane cameras to catch drivers

Extra cameras to catch drivers using bus lanes in Cardiff are to be switched on.
Drivers who breach the rules, which also cover yellow box junctions and banned turns, could be fined.
The council said the enforcement would help improve city-centre congestion and improve travel time.
Councillor Ramesh Patel, cabinet member for transport, said: "The Highway Code is in place for a reason, and we ask all motorists to abide by it."
Cardiff council handed out 3,544 penalty notices in December 2014 - the first month the scheme was introduced.
The new cameras come into force at the following locations on 11 November:
Bus lane on:
Southern Way in Penylan
Churchill Way in the city centre
North Road, after the junction with Boulevard de Nantes, in the city centre
A yellow box camera will be switched on at Adam Street in Adamsdown and a banned turn camera will be in use on College Road from North Road.
Further cameras will be switched on in the next three weeks.
They include bus lane cameras at Malvern Drive/Pentland Close in Llanishen, Llantrisant Road in Llandaff and on Newport Road between Rhymney River Bridge and Beresford Road.
Banned turn cameras in the city centre will affect drivers turning right on to North Edward Street from Churchill Way, turning left into John Lewis car park from Canal Street leading to Hayes Bridge Road and the right turn on to West Grove from Newport Road.
