The festivals have been growing in popularity in recent years

Christmas tree festivals have lit up churches across south Wales to raise money for sick children.

They involve community groups and individuals decorating trees along various themes, using anything from milk carton tops to traditional baubles.

They have been held throughout the Llandaff Diocese, including Bridgend, Penarth, Llantrisant and Cwmparc.

The festival ended with a day of live music provided by church groups.
