Bomb experts explode Neath Abbey canal device

Bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion after a device was found in a canal near Neath.
South Wales Police said the device, believed to be about 50 years old, was found in the canal at Neath Abbey.
Army experts carried out the controlled explosion at nearby Crymlyn Burrows, Jersey Marine, on Thursday at about 16:30 BST.
Police said no one was hurt and there was no local disruption.
