Haverfordwest petrol spill clean-up after tanker crash

Specialist equipment was brought in to tackle the fuel spillage
A clean-up operation has been taking place after a petrol tanker was ruptured when it was in a collision with a crane in Pembrokeshire.
No-one was hurt in the crash on the A4076 at Haverfordwest on Friday morning but a substantial amount of fuel has spilled into the road.
The road was likely to remain closed for the remainder of the day, said police.
The closure caused traffic congestion around the town centre.
The Merlins Bridge roundabout has now reopened - with the exception of the A4076 route - to cars and vans but larger vehicles are being diverted.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Pembrokeshire County Council, Natural Resources Wales and highways officials are dealing with the clean-up.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "Specialist equipment is being used to remove the fuel spillage and the road is going to be closed for a protracted period of time, up to 24 hours."
Diversions are in place around the road closures affecting Johnston Road (A4776), Old Hakin Road, Freemans Way and Pembroke Road.
