Up to 100 jobs at Pembrokeshire's Main Port Engineering

Main Port Engineering says it could end up employing 250 people in total

Up to 100 new jobs could be created with the £1.6m expansion of an engineering firm in Pembrokeshire.

Work is already underway on Main Port Engineering's purpose-built premises in the Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone at Milford Haven.

Welsh government support will create 30 new jobs and safeguard a further 155 over three years.

But company director Jeff Harries said those numbers could be "easily exceeded" to create a further 70 jobs.

Economy minister Edwina Hart said the new facility was a "welcome boost" for the area and would "secure the firm's long term future in Wales".
