Hundreds of people have attempted to break the world record for the most people making sand angels simultaneously.

About 400 people took part in the event, held on Freshwater West beach near Castlemartin in Pembrokeshire, on Saturday afternoon.

The record attempt was organised by Keep Wales Tidy in a bid to raise the profile of the Welsh coast ahead of the summer season.
