Jordan Miers's body found in Swansea marina, police confirm

A body found in Swansea marina has been identified as missing party-goer Jordan Miers.

The 21-year-old children's football coach went missing after a night out in the city on 19 December.

He was last seen on a footpath near the River Tawe at about 22:30 GMT.

South Wales Police was called to the marina on Friday morning following the discovery of a body in the water, and said on Sunday it had now been identified as Mr Miers.

Following his disappearance, police divers, dogs and a helicopter searched the area from Park Tawe retail park, where he had been seen, to his home in Bonymaen.

Family and friends also conducted their own searches.
