Hare coursing chase ends as 10 men flee from car

Police pursuing suspected hare coursers counted up to 10 men fleeing from one vehicle after a car chase.

Cambridgeshire Police rural crime officers were on patrol in Balsham, near Linton, when they spotted a suspicious vehicle.

The car was brought to a halt on a rural track after hitting a stinger.

The vehicle was seized and several dogs were recovered, which now have to be rehomed.

No arrests were made and inquiries were ongoing, the force said.
