Voters talk NHS and pensions as they clear canal

A tree falling across a canal provided the perfect opportunity for voters to talk about the issues affecting them at the general election.

As part of our Your Voice, Your Vote campaign, BBC reporter Clodagh Stenson has travelled on her own narrowboat from Banbury to Oxford.

In Your Vote, My Boat, she has been hearing about the issues that matter to the people she met along the waterways.

But sometimes the canal has its own agenda. So, who won the battle between boat, tree and axe?
