Second fire this year at Kent scrap metal yard
Firefighters are tackling the second blaze in a year at a scrap metal yard in Kent.
Ten fire engines and a water vehicle were sent to the London Scrap Terminal in Crete Hall Road, Gravesend, early on Wednesday, Kent Fire and Rescue Service said.
In May, a fire at the same site saw 5,000 tonnes of scrap metal catch fire.
People living nearby have been warned to keep their windows closed, although there are no reports of any injuries.
