Watch: Drunk man caught driving 'crumpled' BMW

CCTV footage captured a badly damaged BMW being driven on to a petrol station forecourt by a drunk driver.

Cambridgeshire Police said the car, which was stopped in Peterborough in the early hours of 11 October, had "the front bumper and a wheel hanging off as well as a crumpled bonnet".

They were called to St John's Street, Eastgate by a member of the public who was concerned about the way it was being driven and also reported seeing sparks coming from the vehicle.

Rinalds Graudins, 43, of West Lake Avenue, Hampton Vale was found to be more than three times over the legal drink drive limit.

He was disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work at Peterborough Magistrates' Court.
