Watch: 'Prolific shoplifters' caught in the act by Met
The Metropolitan Police force has released footage of officers catching two "prolific shoplifters" at a Co-op in Hackney.
Donavan Soloman and Lee Moise, both in balaclavas, targeted the store on 22 December, 2024, but were unaware that officers were already at the shop watching CCTV in response to general shoplifting concerns.
Soloman, 37, from Beckenham, was sentenced to 10 months for burglary and criminal damage. Moise, 38, from Edmonton, received 12 months for the same offences.
