Farmers seen fleeing Nebraska wildfire during harvest
Firefighters battled several wildfires in northeastern Nebraska on Thursday, fuelled by dry conditions and strong winds. Video taken by the Butler County Sheriff's Department shows tractors and fire workers on a field, with tall plumes of smoke approaching.
Authorities urged farmers to stop harvesting as Red Flag Warnings were issued in several counties.
One fire threatened a power plant in Gage County, forcing 100 workers to evacuate before it was contained.
