The parents and brother of Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman spoke to the BBC's reporting partner, CBS News, in the first interview since the Democratic lawmaker and her husband were killed by a gunman last week. "The horror that morning was beyond reality", said Hortman's father, Harry Haluptzok. Democratic state lawmaker John Hoffman and his wife were also injured in another location by the same gunman, according to authorities. They are expected to survive.
