Road rage driver banned for stopping in fast lane
A 38-year-old man has been banned from driving for three years for stopping his vehicle in the outside lane of a motorway.
The incident took place on the northbound carriageway of the M40 near Warwick in February, when the man stopped in the fast lane then got out and shouted at the driver behind him.
Warwickshire Police released the dashcam footage after the man was sentenced to 250 hours of unpaid supervised work and a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement at Coventry Magistrates' Court.
Insp Dave Valente said: "This case highlights the serious consequences of allowing yourself to get angry behind the wheel, putting other people's lives at risk."
