'Bristolians will not allow chaos'
Habib, who is originally from The Gambia, but now lives in Bristol, said he had found “unity” on Old Market as thousands of people gathered for an anti-racism rally on Wednesday.
The main road into the city was blocked as crowds turned out after rumours that an anti-immigration rally was to take place there.
“I think standing here tonight is very significant,” said Habib.
“Bristol is a very vibrant and welcoming city. Bristolians would not allow anybody to bring chaos into Bristol.
“I feel loved.”
