Card appeal as boy reaches milestone birthday

People are being asked to send cards to celebrate the 18th birthday of Zak Hall from Cumbria.

Zak was born in 2007, and was left severely brain damaged after complications left him without oxygen for several minutes.

He was given a life expectancy of nine to 12 years, but he is now about to celebrate his 18th.

His mum Mags has asked people to celebrate the milestone by dropping cards off at Sedbergh Tourist Information.
