Watch: 'I started my own scream club in London'
A "scream club" has hosted its first London event at Primrose Hill.
The activity, which has become popular in the US, sees young people coming together to let off steam by screaming out their feelings.
Mona Sharif, the organiser of the event, says she put out a post on TikTok last Wednesday as a bit of a joke, but then it started gaining traction.
Soon enough, a WhatsApp group was created which attracted more than 1,000 people who said they wanted to take part on Friday evening.
Some of those who attended told the BBC that it helped them to release stress, with others saying they hope the event happens again.
One local told the BBC they welcomed the idea of the club - but said it probably wasn't a good idea if it happened every evening as the screaming would become annoying.
