Weather forecast: First taste of winter in Scotland

Wintry conditions have arrived in Scotland, with temperatures dropping to -11.2C in Braemar, Aberdeenshire.

Arctic air has been working its way in from the north, bringing cold temperatures that will remain throughout the coming days.

There will also be some showers, with milder conditions expected for the weekend.
